About me

Danijela Manić, an esteemed academic leader, currently serves as the Director of the College of Applied Studies Aviation Academy in Belgrade, Serbia. With a robust teaching career exceeding two decades, she is also a distinguished English Language Professor and an ICAO Rater and Examiner for the Civil Aviation Directorate of the Republic of Serbia. Dr. Manic holds a Doctorate and a Master’s degree in Philological Sciences from the University of Belgrade.

In her academic career, Dr. Manic has made significant contributions to CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) and TBLT (Task-Based Language Teaching). Her numerous publications have advanced bilingual education and the integration of ICT in language learning, earning her recognition in the academic community. As the Director of the Aviation Academy since May 2021, she has driven the institution to new heights, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation, and promoting international engagement and partnerships.

Dr. Manic has also been instrumental in Vocational Education and Training (VET) through the Erasmus+ program, leading projects like “Multilingual Aeronautics World” and “Safe Drones Over Safe Environment.” Her contributions to these projects have enhanced educational opportunities and fostered global partnerships. Recognized with prestigious awards, including the Bronze Plaque of the European Languages Label Award, Dr. Manić’s leadership and innovative approaches continue to impact language education and international cooperation in aviation.
