About me

Dana Mažgútová is the representative of the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic within European Vocational Training Association. As the central public authority responsible for education, lifelong learning, research, development, and youth policies in Slovakia, the Ministry plays a key role in shaping inclusive and future-oriented education systems. With extensive experience in vocational education and training, adult learning, education governance, and labour-market alignment, Dana brings valuable policy-level expertise to the EVTA network. A long-standing and highly engaged member of EVTA, she has contributed for years to strengthening European cooperation in VET and skills development, including through her participation in the “Connecting Women in Digital” project, where she collaborated in a thematic working group focused on the role of VET in supporting women entering, transitioning into, or re-entering digital career pathways at different stages of life. Within EVTA, she is recognised as a highly valuable policy link, contributing strategic insight and institutional perspective to the network’s activities and initiatives.
