PROJECT DESCRIPTION
VET5.0 is an Erasmus+ Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) project that aims to transform vocational education and training through learner-centred approaches, Education 5.0 principles and lifelong learning opportunities aligned with Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0. The project will establish a European Excellence Academy connecting six regional Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVEs) to strengthen skills development, innovation and regional cooperation across Europe.
OBJECTIVES
- Promote learner-centred vocational education and personalised learning pathways.
- Equip educators with Education 5.0 competences and innovative teaching methodologies.
- Strengthen cooperation between VET providers, industry and regional stakeholders.
- Support SMEs, rural communities and vulnerable groups in adapting to digital and green transitions.
- Foster lifelong learning opportunities aligned with Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0 needs.
RESULTS
- Creation of the VET5.0 European Excellence Academy and six regional CoVEs.
- Development of a Learner Platform offering personalised learning pathways and mobility opportunities.
- Development of an Educator Platform featuring an Education 5.0 Toolkit and innovative teaching resources.
- Creation of a Skills Ecosystem Platform supporting collaboration, innovation and policy dialogue.
- Strengthened cooperation between education providers, businesses and policymakers.

EVTA’s ROLE
- Support the internationalisation dimension of the project.
- Facilitate cooperation between VET providers, employers and policymakers across Europe.
- Contribute to dissemination, communication and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Promote project activities and results through EVTA’s European network.
