PROJECT DESCRIPTION
PERSONA – Development of a Hybrid Human-AI personalised learning path for VET for innovation in agriculture, is a project co-funded by the European Union. It focuses on addressing challenges in innovation management education for agricultural TVET Providers, aiming to develop new innovative solutions and learning paths in agriculture, making use of a hybrid human-AI format.
The PERSONA project addresses key challenges in agricultural TVET by enhancing innovation management education, investing in new technologies, and strengthening Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems (AKIS) policies. By training agrifood innovation managers, the project equips professionals to drive industry advancements, foster entrepreneurship, and improve supply chain sustainability. Additionally, it emphasises the need for modern technologies in TVET, recognising the limitations remote learning imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic and the essential role of practical training. Finally, PERSONA supports the development of structured AKIS policies across EU Member States and regions, building on EIP-AGRI efforts to create a more integrated and effective innovation ecosystem.
OBJECTIVES
To innovate the learning processes, products, and services offered by Agricultural TVET Education in order to build and support and inclusive and connected vocational education and training system, contributing to innovation.
To improve Agricultural TVET Education and mainstream innovation into institutional strategies, also through new digital technologies.
To enhance the ability of Agricultural TVET Education to provide transversal and technical skills for innovation.
To strengthen the relationships between Agricultural TVET Education and other AKIS actors at a European level.
RESULTS
A microcredentials common system for the recognition and validation of learning outcomes in Agricultural TVET Education.
A Joint Microcredentials Programme in Innovation Process Management in Agriculture at EQF 5 level.
A teaching support tool based on a Hybrid-AI System.
A period of work-based learning for 40 Agricultural TVET learners to pilot the assessment standards of the Programme.
