EVTA Joins OSHVET Project to Promote Occupational Safety and Health in Vocational Education
EVTA is delighted to announce its participation in the OSHVET Project, a new initiative dedicated to raising awareness of occupational safety and health (OSH) within the vocational education and training (VET) sector.
Joining the European Association of Vocational Training Institutions (EVBB), and the European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (EfVET), EVTA is committed to making a significant contribution to this project, led by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA),
The initiative is currently active in 21 countries, including Austria, Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Kosovo, Lithuania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, and Sweden.
As part of the European Vocational Skills Week, scheduled for October 23rd to 27th, the OSHVET Project will organise some activities focusing on the theme of “Safe and Healthy Work in the Digital Age.” These activities will address the management of digital technologies in the workplace, a vital aspect of modern vocational education.

By joining the OSHVET Project, EVTA and the rest of the partnership are taking significant steps towards enhancing the safety and well-being of both teachers and students in vocational education and training.
